Polka Dancing Contest
Of all the dances originating in the nineteenth-century, the only one that has survived is the polka! Join us on the Main Stage and show us your best Polka Dancing! Your "hippety-hop" will be judged by professional Polka Dancers. The winner will receive a Beer Mug Trophy and drink tokens!

Beer Belly Competition
Fellas, do you think your gut has what it takes to win this glorious recognition? If so, then come on and compete in the 2008 Das Best Beer Belly contest. Candidates will be judged on size and personality by the audience. The winner will be hailed as owner of Das Best Beer Belly for 2008 on the event website and receive an honorary beer mug trophy & drink tokens at the event in order to begin training for next year’s contest. May the best belly win!

Official Rules:
1. No contest entry fee applies. However, you must pay admission at the gate to enter the DAS Best Oktoberfest.
2. All entries must be 21 years of age or older.
3. All entries must be willing to “bare the belly” to the audience.
4. All prizes will be received on-site after the contest.
